"I don't know what to write about."  (Narrowing)

Stacks

  • Books are kept on shelves called stacks.  After you find the call number of a book that you would like to examine, go to the stacks to find the volume.
  • Many libraries have both analog books (the physical volume) and electronic books (e-books).  In the online catalog you will see both "Book" and "eBook" descriptions.
  • Also, many course instructors place special materials, such as textbooks to which students have controlled access, on "Reserve."
