ENG111/112 Argument Paper: BHCC Library Catalog

BHCC Library Catalog

The BHCC library catalog provides access to many resources including physical books, eBooks, and films.

In addition, the BHCC library participates in a consortium of member libraries giving students' access to resources that can be found in public libraries and universities--this is called Interlibrary Loan.

Library of Congress Classification and Book Stacks

The BHCC library uses the Library of Congress Classification System to organize books on the shelves. A classification system uses letters and/or numbers (call numbers) to arrange the books so that books on the same topic are together. When using the online catalog you will see the call number at the bottom of the screen. The spine of the book will have the same call number that is listed on the online catalog. It is the call number that tells you where the book is shelved.

Remote Access

You will need a Bunker Hill Community College OneCard to access eBooks and films.

Off-campus access is restricted to BHCC students, faculty and staff.

Library card number and PIN are required.
