Surgical Technology: Remote Access

This course covers principles of aseptic technique, sterilization, surgical equipment and instrumentation.

What is Remote Access?

Remote access is using the library databases from another location, such as your home or workplace.  You can do library research at any time, even in the middle of the night.

What Do I Need?

To access the library's databases from off campus, you need to know two things:

  1. Your BHCC library barcode
  2. Library account password you (provided at the library Lending Services Desk).

Remote Access

You need your library barcode number and four digit pin to access databases from off campus. Your four digit pin can be reset or given to you at the library's front desk.

Your library barcode can be found on your Student ID.

If you have the OneCard ID, you can find your barcode number on the back of your card.

If you do not have a student ID and need to access databases off campus please fill out this form and email to bhcclibrary@bhcc.edu and we will email you shortly with credentials.

Usually we can solve the problem quickly, but we won't be here if you're doing your research very late at night or very early in the morning, so it's best to get things fixed as soon as you can.
