SOC101 Principles of Sociology: Finding Books

This LibGuide discusses finding and using census data, articles on history and current events, cultural, class, and ethnic issues of a specific country or area of Boston.

Why Use Books?

Books can also be good sources for a research paper. You might find a book that covers only your research topic, or you might find a book that has a section or a chapter about it.

A book written specifically about your subject can provide a more detailed and thorough treatment than an article from a database.
