Finding Books

You don't need to be in the library to find the book you need!  The Library Catalog provides access to thousands of e-books that you can read anywhere, anytime!

US History E-Books

BHCC Library had access to many e-books covering the colonial era and the American Revolution.

In The American Revolution: A Concise History Robert Allison provides an overview of the political and intellectual ideas as well as military and diplomatic developments that led to the creation of the United States.

     

Find e-books covering the period between Reconstruction and World War I.  Topics include the labor movement, immigration, gender relations, and more!

The Gilded Age and Progressive Era: A Student Companion covers all of these topics and more.

We have dozens of e-books covering the era of the Civil Rights Movement and related topics.

Jim Olhoff's The Civil Rights Movement provides an overview of events, people, and ideas that characterized this important point in US history.
